Awareness & Behaviour Change Engine
From awareness to measurable action.
Designed so success is measured as action taken, not communication volume.
Try Live DemoMany awareness initiatives successfully reach people but struggle to demonstrate whether communication leads to meaningful action.
I designed the Awareness & Behaviour Change Engine to explore how audience insights, barriers, stakeholder coordination, interventions and impact measurement could be connected within one operational system.
Problem
Awareness metrics such as reach and engagement do not necessarily demonstrate behaviour change. Organisations need better visibility into where audiences stop progressing, which barriers prevent action and which interventions create meaningful outcomes.
Solution
A decision-support system connecting audience, behaviour, barriers, stakeholders, interventions, actions, outcomes and impact — with communication metrics and behavioural indicators deliberately separated.
Approach
- 01Define the behaviour
- 02Understand the audience
- 03Identify barriers
- 04Coordinate stakeholders
- 05Design interventions
- 06Measure action
- 07Detect gaps
- 08Optimise
- 09Measure impact
Key features
- Audience Intelligence
- Barrier Mapping
- Stakeholder Ecosystem
- Intervention Planning
- Behaviour Journey
- Action Gap Detection
- Impact Measurement
- Next Best Actions
- Scenario Simulation
- Impact Reporting
Adaptable across sectors
- 🐾 Animal welfare — reduce pet abandonment and increase responsible ownership
- 🌱 Environment — reduce waste contamination and improve recycling behaviour
- 🏛 Public / community — increase participation in a local public programme
- 🦁 Conservation — reduce harmful behaviour around protected wildlife areas
The demo includes four selectable scenarios. Audience, barriers, stakeholders, interventions, indicators and recommendations change; the underlying operational architecture stays the same. It is equally applicable to local governments, public institutions, EU-funded programmes, NGOs, foundations and educational or community programmes.
Scope & transparency
- This is a portfolio demonstration, not a commercial product, and not a claim of previous employment in public-sector behaviour change programmes.
- All organisations, partners, audiences, locations, documents and figures are fictional.
- Copilot answers, gap detection, next best actions, simulations and briefs run on deterministic logic over preloaded demo data — no external model is called.
- No login, no visitor data collection, no uploads; integrations and notifications are simulated end to end.
Outcome
A functional portfolio concept demonstrating how awareness programmes can move beyond communication metrics towards structured decision support, coordinated interventions and measurable behavioural outcomes.
